The first Mary Jones World season is over!

Date added: 06/11/15

We have now flown through a full season of Mary Jones World being open to the general public and are thrilled that since 1 April we have now welcomed over 6,300 visitors!

In March of this year Mary Thomas was awarded the first Mary Jones Prize for all her work towards recreating the Mary Jones Walk, which has allowed at least three groups this year to follow in her footsteps and raise money for Bible Society.

We have had a very busy summer which has included many exciting visitors and events. We started the season with our April family fun day which saw over 100 people including children taking part in the Easter egg hunt, enjoying live music and stories in the centre.

During the summer we have welcomed many international visitors from places including Japan, Latvia, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, Singapore, Nigeria, The Netherlands and Ethiopia. We also had a lovely visit from eight ministers from India.

Children from all five local primary schools have visited the centre, and these visits culminated in our ‘In Character’ event, where the local primary schools and Sunday schools came to see a fun performance about William Morgan’s translation of the Bible.

We have social media pages to keep you up to date with upcoming events and news. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter and Google Maps and once you’ve visited, why not leave us a review on Google Maps or TripAdvisor?

If you’ve not taken the opportunity to visit Mary Jones World during the 2015 season, why not add it to your New Year’s resolutions for 2016? We’ll be open from 26 March and look forward to welcoming you!

Rydym wedi hedfan drwy dymor agoriadol Byd Mary Jones, a’r fath flwyddyn a fu. Rydym wrth ein bodd ein bod wedi croesawu dros 6,300 o ymwelwyr ers 1 Ebrill 2015!

Ym mis Mawrth, dyfarnwyd Gwobr Mary Jones i Mary Thomas. Hi oedd y gyntaf i ennill y wobr a hynny am ei holl waith yn ail-greu Taith Mary Jones, sydd wedi caniatáu i o leiaf dri chriw ddilyn ôl ei throed eleni a chodi arian ar gyfer Cymdeithas y Beibl.

Fe wnaethom ddechrau’r tymor gyda’n Diwrnod Hwyl i’r Teulu ym mis Ebrill, lle gwnaeth dros 100 o oedolion a phlant cymryd rhan mewn Helfa Drysor y Pasg a gwrando ar gerddoriaeth a straeon addoli.

Drwy gydol yr haf, roeddem wrth ein bodd yn croesawu llawer o ymwelwyr o dramor gan gynnwys: Japan, Latfia, Seland Newydd, UDA, Canada, Nigeria, Singapore, Yr Iseldiroedd ac Ethiopia. Cawsom hefyd ymweliad hyfryd gan wyth o weinidogion o’r India.

Rydym hefyd wedi cael plant o bob un o’r pum ysgol gynradd leol yn ymweld â’r ganolfan, gan ddiweddu gyda’n digwyddiad ‘Mewn Cymeriad’, ble roedd ysgolion cynradd ac Ysgolion Sul yn dod yma i weld sioe oedd yn hwyl ac yn rhyngweithiol am gyfieithiad William Morgan o’r Beibl.

Mae gennym gyfrifon cyfryngau cymdeithasol gyda’r newyddion diweddaraf a gwybodaeth am unrhyw ddigwyddiadau sydd ar y gweill. Gallwch ddod o hyd i ni ar Facebook, Twitter a Google Maps ac unwaith rydych chi wedi ymweld â ni, beth am i chi adael adolygiad ar TripAdvisor neu Google Maps.

Os nad ydych wedi cael cyfle i ymweld â Byd Mary Jones yn ystod tymor 2015, beth am ei ychwanegu i’ch addunedau flwyddyn newydd 2016? Byddem ar agor o Fawrth 26 ymlaen ac edrychwn ymlaen at eich croesawu!
